Leaves are NOW hitting their peak color

#1 Postby Stephanie » Sun Nov 11, 2007 12:38 pm

It's at least 2 weeks later than normal. The town has been sending out the leaf collecting machines, but there's nothing to collect ( you'd think that they would realize this  ).

It's strange to have temps in the 40's to about 50 and have leaves on the trees, many are still green.

I'm afraid that we're going to be raking leaves instead of putting up Christmas decorations. What I'm REALLY afraid of is "if" we were to get a snow fall (it's been cold enough at night), we may have some trees coming down.
