Now if you could please set the record straight? ... Does the coriolis force influence the whirlpool direction of draining water? I didn't think so. Then this weekend, a guy on HGTV was replacing a toilet and said yes. (not exactly the most scientific show :wink: )

Thank you for clarifying this question that has been plaguing mankind for over a century! :D
