Houston -- how's your weather?

Hey, y'all! Would ya stop hogging all the rain? It's like watching a lava lamp on the radar and the lava keeps blurbling up around Katy, Beaumont, and Houston and nothing down here.

I live near Katy, and I really havent seen much in the rain gauges....I have seen the black clouds, but they are to my east, and they never seem to edge towards the west at all.... Maybe tomorrow!

It storms here every day now. Good, loud, hard thunderstorms very common. My yard is slush.

Even in spring Branch it has looked very promising, but the most I have gotten from any storm this week is 0.04". SG quit hogging the rain!!!

I'm in Band... we've had rain interruptions this whole week. Scattered showers have been everywhere, unfortunately, they've all been scattered. Some places have probably had an inch or more this week... Others, none at all.

Only thunder here. The rain always seems to be to our west (towards the Friendswood & Alvin areas). The Seabreeze name for some of the showers can be misleading. You would think the coastal areas would get this rain, however this does not seem to be the case usually.
By the time the moisture moves inland and gets heavy enough to produce rain, it has moved north of us. It soaks everyone but the coastal areas.

Sorry David. After reading this last night from a local met: "A Generally Hot And Dry Weekend...." and the same thing from NWS, I thought my daily rain had come to an end. So I was a little surprised when I heard some thunder and then down came the rain earlier this afternoon. It wasn't a large storm, but they all seem to find me lately.

Good luck if you still need rain. I've got plenty over here!
