Good news

#2 Postby jimvb » Tue Sep 19, 2006 8:06 am

This is good news. The 804 inches for 2005-6 means that the Seattle, Washington and Vancouver, BC areas should be well provided with water this year. The problem occurs when only 200 inches fall and the snow disappears from the mountain in the summer - means water crisis for Seattle. People are concerned that global warming may cause scant snowfalls and water problems in the west, but this year bucks that trend.
