No, I'm with you 100%. I hate the cold unless it's snowing. I'm not at all happy about the prospect of winter giving us a nice slapping here at the end.

I like 60 and 70 degree weather. But when you are pushing the upper 80's and now the low 90's in FEBRUARY, that's stuff we have about 80% of the rest of the year. A little varity is nice once in awhile.
At least it was dry heat yesterday instead on the humid stuff we have all of the time.

THE GOOD NEWS IS DESPITE THE COOLER AIR...THERE IS STILL NO ARCTIC
AIR SOURCE AND THAT SHOULD PRETTY MUCH LOCK UP THE WINTER OF `06 WITHOUT
ANY HARD FREEZES
That was taken from the NWS in Tampa this morning. I believe cold air is coming but to cool down to normal not 90's like you in Texas are experiencing. Lets just close winter and be done with it no more teasing around.

IM enjoying the mild weather also but I crave the cold so much lol...I live in SC and IM used to mild weather but we usually get some cold and winter precip down here at least once a winter but so far its been rain and occasional cold temps that shoot right back up the next day. Has my brain thinking its time for flip flops and barbques LOL

Winter continues for South Texas. I'd hate to see what spring and summer is going to be like. I know, patience it's going to change.
The front is coming trough with 30 to 40 MPH winds and we have dropped to 79. Whoppee!

It was a suprise to me. I never heard anyone say temps were going to drop like a rock into the 50's. I heard Mario Gomez on Channel 11 say we'd slowly drop into the mid 60's, but that was it.
It was a fun suprise though!
