Potential Storm For Deep South and East Down the Road

#1 Postby Hybridstorm_November2001 » Wed Jan 18, 2006 2:54 pm

SOUTH AND EAST LATE IN THE PD...

UNCERTAINTY INCREASES IN THE EAST LATE IN THE PD AS THERE ARE
DIFFERENCES IN THE NRN STREAM...AND WHETHER OR NOT IT PHASES W/THE
SOUTHWEST UPR CYC. FOR NOW...PREFERRING AN UNPHASED LOOK BETWEEN
THE SRN AND NRN STREAMS. DESPITE THE DIFFERENCES OUT WEST...THERE
IS NOW A CONSENSUS TO BRING A LOW THROUGH THE DEEP SOUTH THROUGH
THE SRN APLCHNS AND CAROLINAS BEFORE MOVG OFFSHORE NEW ENG DURING
THE NEXT MON-TUE TIME FRAME...SO CHANGES WERE MADE TO ACCOMODATE
THIS NEW CONSENSUS.

What kind of storm are you referring to rain or snow or both?

Not sure. It seem (the discussion) to be pointing towards an icy mix.
