pattern change thoughts (with map)

#1 Postby deltadog03 » Sun Jan 08, 2006 2:46 pm

hey everyone. I know winter is sucking right now, but I see light at the end of the tunnel. I think espcially for the plains. The key, imo, is the artic slide, neg nao setting up, and the deep trof just west of alaska. That should pump the ridge over alaska and send the trof crashing into the rockies and plains. for now...enjoy commets always appreciated!!!1

hopefully well see a STRONG BLUE NORTHER for the plains... blue northers bring the coldest air down out of all fronts and they dive straight into south Texas. i think temps even out and temps have been ridiculous.. upper 60s in denver and northwest kansas and missourri a couple days in late dec january... its been 15-20 degrees above normal for awhile all thruout the plains...mid month should get interesting though.... it should be 20 degrees below normal if temps even out for the plains for like 2 weeks!!!!!!!! but whats normal now????
