0z models COLDER and more bullish for NJ

#1 Postby NJSnowFreak » Sun Jan 25, 2004 9:28 pm

0Z ETA

For the first system, .5" QPF line is through ACY or just north...

With 20:1 ratios could spell more than 6" from central NJ on south

It's also colder to setup the second system

0z NGM

0 line at 850 stays south of ACY setting up the second system...

2nd system developing a bit further south?

Models are trending the right way

Us in the PHL could only hope on both your idea ...more QPF first event and development a little south for second.

just b/c the 0C isotherm stays south of ACY dosnt mean that there isnt a warm layer or two either above or below it.

I realize that, but I'm just pointing out a colder trend...

..and with this system, the warmer layer will probably be upper rather than lower, meaning zr or ip potential between the two snow systems..
