.SHORT TERM...CURRENTLY SEVERAL FEATURES OF INTEREST ARE ANALYZED
OVER THE SOUTHEAST UNITED STATES. SEVERAL SHORTWAVES ARE MOVING INTO
THE PICTURE PLUS SURFACE CYCLOGENESIS OVER THE TX/OK PANHANDLE.
ISENTROPIC PROCESSES ARE UNDERWAY NOW WITH PRECIP DROPPING THROUGH A
SOMEWHAT DRY LAYER...WHICH BRINGS ON EVAPORATIVE COOLING AND
POSSIBILITY OF A STRAY SNOWFLAKE OR ICE PELLET ESPECIALLY TO OUR
NORTH. RADAR WOULD POSSIBLY SHOW SOME BRIGHT BANDING...BUT THE PRECIP
TODAY WILL LIKELY EVAPORATE BEFORE REACHING THE GROUND
