Time to start watching radars.....

#1 Postby Anonymous » Thu Jan 08, 2004 11:54 am

This event will likely be very, very light for N VA, to the estimated tune of anywhere from 2 to possibly as much as 17 flurries late tonight/tomorrow.
NO sarcasm intended :)

However, we do have very cold ground temps, it won't take much snow to coat the roads and cause them to become slick.

So, it is prudent to man the radars.

Please see the national radar. Also, check out this Mid Atlantic regional radar.

Things can always change; however folks I'll be frank with ya on this.......not a lot of moisture with this, the track is not too good, and the dry air will require a lot of moisture just to moisten up so snow can reach the ground.

I'll let the experts do a professional eval of this, I am no expert :)
