GGEM has our storm

#1 Postby weathafella » Tue Dec 16, 2003 11:29 pm

Getting details...cold event on tonight's run. Not quite where we want in that it shears east but upper air doesn't really support that so its looking better.

The X'Mas storm appears to slide more to south and east of New England as a strong high pressure in Quebec blocks it. Maps to be posted soon.

Thanks, Wxfella and Montrealboy for posting on the GGEM. Apparently, just as I invoked the GGEM in another post, it's come out. Of course, Montrealers won't have to wait to see what happens with next week's possible storm, there will be snow on Rue St. Denis by Thursday morning.

wonder if that's due to the saskatchewan screamer HM or meteo mentioned?
