Generally Like the idea, your heavier band needs to go northeast though, at least I believe, as the storm will be traveling northeast. Can't really see the band continuing on due east.

Yeah... I understand what you are getting at. I am afraid to band it to far NE yet however. We shall see as it gets closer.
