That's about 8, maybe 10 inches, of snow, which is a lot more than I can say for my region, where we managed to pick up 4 inches from the Big Dog. I wish that Big Dog had chosen to linger over N VA for a couple days!!! I guess we got the puppy LOL.

Exactly HOW MUCH snow you get there? Wouldn't that be about 12 inches by now?

Once again, amazing photos. My favorite is number 13. I can only dream that we get a snowstorm like that in the future.

It looks like the snow has picked up and is pretty intense now if you look at the live video. There is a band with 1-2 inches per hour over New York City right now and it could sit there a while.

Awesome pics!!!! I am sooooooooooo jealous!!!!

I dream about snow like that, but then again, I'd be thrilled to get enough to make a few snowballs. I'm not greedy. ;)

nice...taken probably just down the street from me. I had to work in thise storm, so no opportunity to take any pictures unfortunately...but still enjoying it. I'm actually anxious for this band to get out of the area. Want the road crews to have a few hours to work on the roads before I try to head home at 10pm. Really don't wanna spend another night in the hotel just down the road.

Well my wife is over visiting NY atm. She has just called me (in UK) to say it IS snowing heavy. She is due to fly out tomorrow lunch time. Does anyone know if the flights are grounded or managing to get out?

Cheers

Most flights today have been cancelled...but things should be improving overnight. I'd assume there will probably be some big delays still tomorrow, but things will be getting back to normal.
