NYC may now have a chance...

Temps steady in the upper 20's with mod. snow falling... eta never has the dryslot or a changeover.

Yeah, this forecast was seriously flawed from the beginning for NYC. Bayside, due east of Manhattan about 10 miles we've had nothing but moderate to heavy snow all day with at least 2" on the ground already and by way of radar, there's no sign of it slowing down for at LEAST a few hours.

Not that it matters, but, some guy on Channel 5 (Fox) said that they were going to have to up the totals in NYC from 7-10" to 8-15" or so.

I'm thinking 8-12 inches on Long Island and NYC with 10-15 inches in the Newark, NJ to Caldwell and Teterboro area. Some places in northeast Pennsylvania into southeast New York State including the Hudson valley could locally see up to 20 inches of snow before this storm is over and done with Saturday night.
