dt. is calling for an additional 6-12 tomorrow in the dc-ny area. I just dont see this happening. maybe at best an additional 3-6 tomorrow. Any opinions on this?

Yea this has been a joke of a storm per my local mets, calling for 3-8 inches generally...Yet I look at ETA/GFS showing at LEAST 8 inches for my area, give me a break.

im sorry dt, didnt mean to critisize your forecast. I was just assuming based on all the latest forecast I have heard. Most of my local forecasts are calling for 1-3 today, and totals of 5-8 by late tomorrow, thats about the highest I have heard locally, atleast for the city, more N&W obviously. Meaining an additional 4-5 tomorrow tops.

I'd say yes especially in Phil-Bos corridor. Looks like the second disturbance is just starting to merge with the coastal and precip should start back building.

because if thats the case, then philly will see somewhere in the 10-20 range total. Becasue 4-8 is predicted now for today, then and additional 6-12 tomorrow.
