As of today...............I don't think so.
We have been having very mild temps and it will continue.................
Some cold snaps will run through our region and again..........nothing that will last too long.
Even the snow cover shows something is happening.

I have been saying that a late winter start is on the horizon and an early spring seems very much possible.
Yesterday again has proved that the forecasters were once again taken by surprise. Very warm temps moved in and the cold front never reached us as they predicted.
Everyone is hopping winter will start and they are sticking their necks out in hopes that they will be correct.
But again I do not see that occuring for awhile and when it does hit,,,,,,,,,,,don't expect it to last too long.
Still think the Northeast is going to have an early winter??

We will be fine in eastern PA this winter. In my opinion - temps will be near normal from December through March, and snowfall will be 100% to 120% of normal.
that may actually be underdone, john, the apps (more than 50 miles northwest of the major cities) should see the best deviations from normal on the above average side.
