I enjoy this type of snow...if it doesn't stop me from going anywhere, I like it...also if I'm not going out, a nice blanket of snow is fine...........

Jeremy - we had it over here too, on the east side of Cincinnati. I'm close to the River, if that helps any - in Anderson Township, near Coney. Sure was pretty but very windy! The snow cut into your face, it was such a shock after Sunday's warm temps! But I usually embrace winter. And get this - my husband opened all the basement windows on Sunday. And I had 3 windows to paint, closing in here on finishing the job. So we had many windows open. He turned off the furnace, just in case. Did he tell me this morning? Oh no! I just figured I was cold because of the drastic wx change!!! We also keep our thermostat very low - on 65. This will be our fourth winter doing that. He walked in from work and declared - Man, it's cold in here! Forgot to tell you something......LOL It's on now and we're fairly warm.

Bring on the snow!

LOL he even got more than I did!! Didn't stick to any cars or anything here, just on top of little puddles that were already frozen! Oh well, at least I got to see a flake or two fly! :D

Yes, we live in a mansion with a staff of....mmmmm, 50......I never cook, clean, dirty my hands.....LOL

NOT!!!!

I'm just a slow painter, picky-picky....hubby slaps paint all over the glass, then you have to come back later and scrape it off when you want to windex. I had a 3 unit one left I was putting off like crazy. We have 29 all together. Some are half windows, over tall ones. So it sounds like more than it really is. :-) I just get sidetracked easily and then I have my taxi duties kick in each day at 2:30 until after dinner usually (busy teens). So see - very little time for big jobs like window painting!!!

Wish I had a mansion....maybe.....LOL It would be nice to know what that feels like for a day, huh?

One thought kept occurring to me as I was painting.....last time I painted windows (8 or so years ago, 4 years ago they were professionally painted) I didn't need reading glasses to do the job......hate getting old!!! LOL

GAStorm,

I hope you enjoy your trip into the heart of the bluegrass and mecca of college basketball... Lexington, Ky!

You will see a lot of rain for Thanksgiving and some snow flurries for Friday and Friday night. Should make for a festic tree lighting. Eastern and NE Kentucky will see the bulk of the snow showers and may even pick up a coating of snow!

Thanks Upslope. We are actually going to the game Friday, so it should be nice to see some good UK basketball! I'm actually going to leave here really soon, so Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone here at Storm2K!!
