Very cold air invades parts Canada

I'm new to this site and I want to say Hi to everybody here. I live in Winnipeg Canada. Anyways a cold front has swept through the prairie provinces of Canada yesterday dropping temps a fair bit. Even with hardly any snow on the ground we struggled to get any warmer than the upper teens today. The current temperature is just 10F and we are expecting to drop to -2 tonight. Even colder in Alberta where high temps today remained sub zero.

HEY fellow canadian!! welcome!! So sorry about that frigid weather there. You should have been here today... like 55F/ 13C ..normal high is 45F/ 7C so well above average... sunny...gentle winds. It seemed everyone took their lunch hour outside today.

Anyways...happy you are on the board.
