Remember ....

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Wed Nov 05, 2003 10:38 pm

Just because it has/is unseasonably warm now in the East doesn't mean that it CAN'T be a decent upcoming winter.

Remember, this is after all November, and don't let the forecasted PNA pattern in the next 15 days scare you by any means ..

The bottom line is this ... remember 2000/2001? November and December started out how??... This year could end being a complete reversal ...

November 2000-December 2000 Mean

November 2000-December 2000-Anomalies

More specifically - December 2000 (which was the coldest December of record for Charleston)
December 2000 Temperature Mean

December 2000 Anomalies

January-March 2001 Temperature Mean and Anomalies

Bottom line and the moral of the story ... Don't judge the book just by its cover ...

They must of moved or been changed with their links because they were showing up lastnight. Those looked interestign and gave me hope for good snow this winter.
