KYW 1060am Philly Joe Bastardi

#1 Postby LMolineux » Wed Nov 05, 2003 9:26 am

Well Today marked out his start to do readings once and a while for KYW News Radio 1060 on the am dial. Today they announced on KYW 1060 that Joe Bastardi will be doing severe Weather/Winter Weather/Tropical reports/forecasts. This is somewhat exciting to hear but still not like his column but still better then paid anchors reading from a script you know. Sorry I hope this does not offend anyone just a little point of view and information.

I know this is a Bit Off Topic. But he did hint towards the Zonal Flow due to the Solar Flair activity so he said some major storms most EC Runners have come off of winters that have had major solar activity like this year so far. So he said be prepaired for 3 major storms this winter. Other wise basic cool shots and zonal flow.

Nothing we didnt already know but still somethign to chew on.

He has been on once and a while before but not like he will be now. According to KYW. on their radio dial.

I was not listening to KYW this morning on my way to work, but it sounds good. It will be nice to have Joe B's take on the weather for our area this winter.

I usually listen to KYW as well. I'm glad to hear that they're adding that feature and he'll be the one to provide the reports. I don't subscribe to his site through the KYW website, so I generally miss out on his reports.
