Uh, Dave I don't mean to seem ungrateful, but you can keep it. It isn't proper to put caveats on accepting gifts, but we might take it if you could make sure it was all cleared off the roads so we can drive around to see the wonder of mega-inches of snow in our area.
You guys stay safe up there. This is turning out to be one historic winter for many areas. :cold: :froze: :froze:

This does not bode well for anyone in the Midwest/Ohio valley and points East. Thanks for keeping us informed David. Please stay safe and report as you can. Am I correct in assuming that you are basically close to blizzard conditions now, or is it an ice problem?

Believe it or not I'm down with the intestinal flu in this crap too...no plows for me today, only weather operations...nope didn't plan it like that and would gladly trade for a plow job in a split second! Here you go...

OMG Dave - those pictures BARELY show buildings or vehicles. That one white out picture is amazing!

I hope you feel better. I guess that if you're going to be sick, it may as well be while you're stuck inside during a storm.

As of 10 am this morning there is from 11 - 16" of snow on the ground, total snow depth from 2 winter storms. Everything is shut down except for road crews, ems personnel and hospitals. Here is a round of pictures from various directions from cam #1 (#2 was damaged overnight by winds) at the street dept in Osgood Indiana. Winds are ranging from 15 - 20 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph. Drifting is taking place on all roads. Put it this way I can't get out my front door..there is a 4 foot drift blocking it shut. Here you go...from this morning Feb 10...

My electric is now bouncing on and off...time to go get the generator out of the garage, looks like
may be using it soon..and I still have the flu..sicker than i've been in years...don't even mention food.
Will try for more info and pics later today if we have power. This is a nightmare...and I hate snow.

Note: look close on the last picture and you can see the snow blowing across the field.

Back to a level 2 snow emergency, winds have died down to 5 to 10 mph, and no snow...minor blowing and drifting now only. This is the best sight I've seen in days....
