Yeah I read earlier on one of the threads that the air pocket was predicted to be cold pretty far down. If that’s the case and timing is right we could get a bunch of snow but it probably wouldn’t last long very long based on surface temps

Canadian's still not playing ball. Ah, well. We'll see.

Each run keeps expanding the moisture shield NW. All of the models are backing off the dry moisture starved scenario

It's also way warmer than the GFS/NAM. I'll be more confident if it joined the club. Interesting thing though, the GFS has been sniffing this out for over a week.

If my memory serves me well the GFS sniffed out last year's blizzard 2 weeks out.

Nothing on the ECWMF except for coastal GA and SC. Hopefully tomorrow they come into agreement one way or another. Right now, it's GFS/NAM vs Canadian/Euro.

NAM is opposite of the globals in terms of precipitation type and location.

Not a fan of the 12z Nam. Cuts the low too far west for NW Florida

06z Gfs was a step backwards as well. Not surprising after the Euro didn't budge. Losing hope!

12z Icon another step back. I imagine the 12z Gfs will continue to back off. :spam:

Temps look to be a huge problem now. There's no reinforcing cold like last year

Heck if the 12z models are right everything is a huge problem :spam:

At least we had a little tease, I didn't think we would get a chance this winter to even just model watch.
