Ahh that's nothing. A few years ago it took people 6 hours to go less than 10 miles in I-35 in Dallas/Lewisville due to ice.

I know many people had a ~4 hour commute home taking the side streets.

Latest Tulsa NWS Winter Storm Warning mentions the potential for some areas to get 1" of ice!!! :eek: I am still waiting for a changeover. I am down to 34º as of 10:30... slowly falling. At 3:00 today I registered my high temp of 73º.

Here's the end reuslt of the Tulsa storm.... 10.4 inches in one day = new record for November. I guess that's the definition of a harsh welcome back to the midwest!

Quite an impressive snowfall for Oklahoma! Let's hope we can get in on the action as we head into winter.

The wife has been after me for some time now to put up the holiday lights. I think this weekend will be the time to install the decor, as most of the snow will be gone by then.... Maybe some rain next week!

Moisture is good....

Keep an eye on the trends. While I still think our area will get rain (ours meaning yours and mine... I am in SW MO) things will trend colder before the event.
