No offense but Storm2k bans people for doing next to nothing, like JetMaxx, the people that wwbb bans are people who DESERVE to be banned, but lets end it here and stop dissing each other. I like both boards, but I dislike it when one or the other gets dissed.

If you want people to come to this board, you have to be tolerable about other boards, or they'll take you as snobby.

Well, I didn't think that setup was exactly right (as posted on WWBB last week), but I gotta admit, darn good call, Quincy ... the temperature profiles definitely supported it per EC, but I thought it would have been more of a popcorn like convective behind the front type of setup ...

Once again, good call ..

Actually, you were talking 8-16 inches of snow in PDX/SEA...a far cry from what happened. Hence...the reason I derided your call. Having spent tons of time out there, I realize that to get that much snow this early in the cities, something even more extraordinary than what has happened needs to occur. So Quincy....if I were you, I'd look at this as a learning experience of modifying models to climatology. Overall good thinking though.

Let's hope it doesn't get to this point...but imagine if WWBB went down for good, or was too annoying to put up with? I don't think it would be good if we all came here. I mean, I like this board alright...but there just seems to be two different types of people associating with two different boards. A little like liberal vs conservative but...ugh, no politics. I say we keep some sort of a seperation, and go to easternuswx.com. :D

They've been getting good snows out west. The mountains of Utah have had their snowiest November since the mid 90's.

Then my post might have been wrong above...thanks for setting me and everyone else straight...I should have gotten the facts before I said what I did...

It was mentioned recently that we shouldn't be friendly to each other. That doesn't make any sense.

Being rude to each other is far worse, why wouldn't it be?

Maybe i'm being a little dense, but I don't see what you are saying. Is it rude that all of WWBB would not come here? I thought it would be rude if we all did come here...should we all be able to just come over and jump in? Fine with me I guess if the storm2kers don't mind...

I am saying that the members of WWBB shouldn't come to here to be rude to us. Why do such a thing? We are here to have discussions about meteorology and discuss other non-weather related issues.

Ah, I see. I agree. I hope you didn't think I was implying such a thing...
