Not sticking. A little angry it’s sticking in Dallas per a friend’s photos. I’m pissed at being missed to the east.

And radar drying up shifting south, so that was that. No more than any other “event” for me.

I have a friend that lives off Western Center and 35 and she said it's rain snow mix and nothing was sticking. While just 15 min south here there's about .5" to .75" on roofs, cars, and grass areas

Could you provide the link for that specific radar? It seems to accurately show what is happening compared to a few other radars?

I am basically in that exact area. What’s really frustrating is that NYE it missed me 20 miles west. Now 10 miles south or hell, 20 miles east. Lol. I am seeing some flakes again but radar is so light no chance it will accumulate. Nice to see some flakes though.

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

Got to get down to 33-34 range. 35-37 is hard to stick.

Big flakes coming down at a pretty good rate 15 miles west of Austin. HRRR has it lasting until around 6 PM here. Snowman time this afternoon.

Before deciding whether a model verifies, wait until after the event to compare observed totals versus predicted totals. Until then, it’s premature.

My temp is approaching 34. Question if it is too late to stick. Getting nice humidity now. Radar shows nothing but snowing pretty decently right now.

32 degrees and heavy snow. All of it is sticking. Been snowing since about 8 am and shows no sign of stopping. About 2 inches on the ground.

Strong band coming up from Johnson county is going to clip the area between Fort Worth and Dallas. Should be some heavy rates.

True. Still a shot tonight or it could build back up this afternoon.

Wish this site allowed pics directly, I have some nice ones. It's been moderate snow for a few hours now. Seems to be picking up again.
