From a DFW perspective. Snail.

From an enthusiast perspective. What a wonderful day it is for Texans. How often do you see such broad availability of snow for the I-35 and I-45 corridors at the same time?

Snow is already covering all the grass and temps are still above freezing. Stay safe on the roads guys!

I just woke up, nothing but rain by the Austin bergstrom airport, but the temp has dropped from 39.0 to 37.4 in 15 minutes.
Just up the road a few miles up the road in east Pflugerville, its snowing with it on the ground - a friend sent me a pic as proof, lol.

And no, they were not kids walking in front of my house.

Big beautiful flakes and lots of accumulation happening here in South Arlington. Really getting a beautiful snow globe look.

Nothing yet in this part of East Texas (Upshur County). Local weather is saying rain for most part of the day, then transitioning to snow in early evening. Was really hoping for straight snow, snow, snow! Hopefully we get more than a trace.

Happy for all my northern friends. This system is really starting to wind up down here. Lots of rain!!!! To my north strong sustained NE winds at 25 mph and to the south strong sustained SE winds, it's like a winter tropical depression in CCTX.

Best rain event since hurricane Hanna.

Been seeing a rain snow mix here at the Rain Cave for awhile, though in the last 15 minutes it looks to be all snow. Starting to see accumulation over open areas, cars and roofs. There may be some rain still mixed in but definitely more snow than rain.

Went from large snow flakes to moderate sleet at my house in Bryan. Temp on my WeatherFlow station is down to 33.4. Expect it’ll change back to all snow soon.

My house backs up to the tracks looking due west. I am starting to lose the view of the horizon to the west, southwest. Usually that means rain or precip. Perhaps that's the snow moving in.

Been snowing pretty good now for almost an hour. About 1/2" on cars, rooftops and grass is filling in nicely.

Yep this is mentally agonizing. Is it too early to start drinking? Ntwx, are you still seeing small flakes down in your part of Irving?

We’ve wished it into existence neighbor. :cold:

Got light snow here in ponder.
