Pete Delkus not forecasting much snow for DFW. Especially my side of the metroplex. I’m still not expecting anything until I see it falling. That’s not fun but sadly it’s the option that keeps me the most sane.

Love the disclaimer at the end. Shifts in this map are possible as we get new data.... The new data will be snowflakes hitting him in the face when he walks outside.
Hopefully he doesn't open his mouth and look up. We all know what happens to turkeys when they do.

Heavy convective training showing up on WRF too...very puzzling that all of the Pro Mets are still GFS model huggers and don’t rely on our short range hi res guidance as much

Not all professional mets are GFS huggers! I'm thinking 1-3 inches around Dallas, with some areas possibly seeing up to 5-6 inches under the heaviest snowbands. Right now I'm thinking the southern end of any accumulations will reach down to Austin and College Station.

One thing I've noticed here is that generally the TV mets here in DFW follow what the NWS says they had a graphic basically matching what FWD had put out an hour ago yesterday

One thing I've noticed here is that generally the TV mets here in DFW follow what the NWS says they had a graphic basically matching what FWD had put out an hour ago yesterday

100%. I want their job, take someone else’s work, make it look like mine , work relatively easy hours (nowadays from home) and get paid a ton for all that.
