I don't know, it looks like the band is move East to me, but just ramping up in an area that makes it look like it's headed Northeast.

You might be right. My snow starved eyes could be playing tricks on me.
Light rain starting here now. Let's see where this goes.

I’m way too used to things not going our way so I’m still assuming this will die before it reaches me

Rain has changed to sleet here. Pretty good clip too. Pinging off the windows pretty hard.

Currently 35F at DFW with 20-30mph winds and dp around freezing.

Band is nearing and it's not massive but quite convective, let's see who the lucky few are!

Doesn’t seem like the snow band can reach Bell County, especially since it is 43F - 41F here. Oh well. Maybe I can cash in some white stuff in February.

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

Man the south part of that band just started collapsing as soon as it got near the Metroplex. Northern half still looks strong so it’ll be interesting to see if it continues.

Nah, I read his posts, i think he secretly wants multiple blizzards lol. But I also watch hoping you get the snow in dallas every time it threatens, and it seems to magically disappear just before it reaches you. Odd really, there must be some atmospheric reason though.

This band is decieving because its somewhat rotating counter clockwise, but the band looks to be dissapating in the south part of it, making it look like it’s moving northeast.

I think Denton would be a great spot to be in if the radar trends hold together.

Meanwhile, down here in Lafayette Louisiana we are getting strong wind, thunder and heavy rain, under a tornado watch. 68 degrees. I think it will move out very quickly.

Got some frozen stuff falling very lightly ATM. Temp is 32. Liking my chances based off the radar. I'm just west of Denton

Well fart, looks like a no-go for Dallas county. I have to go to Kroger at 7 so if I see a rogue flake float down I shall report it!!!!
