In 1989-90 the same thing happened and we never saw a return to winter. It seems to be acting very similiar to me.?

wxguy25 are you sure it's not 1989-90? Up until this point it is acting exactly like that year from my perspective. Here in Louisiana we had a snow in late December and have been warm ever since with no cold in sight.
