Just for tutorial purposes, even the warm biased ETA ... I want to demonstrate just HOW cold air damming works with temperatures at 850mb and at the SFC ... BOTH are colder than the 18z runs, and frankly, that's NOT suprising as the ETA continues to near the event, and continues to demonstrate just HOW CAD is underprogged by all the model guidance.

On a brighter note the 00z runs of both the ETA and the GFS has thankfully shifted a little south enough to spare me and of that ice and give lots of snow instead and as well bringing areas east of the apps farther south better chances of frozen precip with the cad now starting to show up better on this run.
