SNOWING RIGHT NOW IN D.C

#1 Postby Lowpressure » Wed Dec 17, 2003 2:18 pm

Cold front moved through a while ago changing rain to giant snow flakes. Do not expect much if any accumulation, but it is pretty to look at. Reagan says 36 degrees. I am at work and have no accurate thermometer. Look outside JEB!!

In fact snow looks to be shutting off. It was a brief burst of snow about 3 PM. No accumulation. Temps are well above freezing at 36. However with wind gusts in the 25-30 mph range, it feels much colder than that.

0.99" of rain fell though. No snow accumulation here in central Maryland.

I second that.

LowPressure... you can also build a snowman for us down here in the Deep South too. Be sure to write on his belly, "Compliments of the Deep South" LOL!! Enjoy!

No snow man today. All precip has ended, for now anyway. Calling for a clipper Thursday evening into Friday morning with snow showers possible. Snowman from last weekend storm was a mere melting snowball in the front yard this morning. Next time Lindaloo I will give southern respect.
