Good morning. About the same here thunder. There was heavy snow from 4 am to 5 am here in Essex. Blowing snow was an issue also. Visibility at one point was down to 1/4 of a mile.

3.5 inches of snow fell from part 2 since 10 am here.

4.5 inches fell from part 1 yesterday am.

8 inches total in Essex.

8 inches accumulated here in Essex thunder. I've been updating the local media on this all night last night. To say the least it was fun. I slept yesterday afternoon, which as a result kept me up on a different schedule and a new mission last night. I got some snow photos also and I think I'll post a few on the web later tonite.

Yes, indeed... it is early to see a snowstorm of this magnitude during the first week of December. I believe the last time it snowed like this in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern U.S. was December 12-13, 1992; three months to the day before Superstorm '93. :)
