Mid-Hudson Valley as well...a nice dark green band directly over top of us and still not even a flake. I figure still another hour...still a 10 degree spread between dewpoint and temperature.

The air is very dry still up here in Orange County, so it's taking awhile, but it should start within 1 hr.

It finally started here in Newburgh. It's still light, but looks like it's getting heavier by the minute :D

We have an inch or so already, Been listening to the police scanner tooo. been an interesting night. I posted this over on wwbb but it is worth repeating:

LOOKS LIKE SLANTED DEFORMATION ZONE BETWEEN 850 AND 700 MB SETTING
UP FROM THE WYOMING VLY ACROSS THE POCOCNOS AND SRN CATSKILLS AND
INTO THE MID-HUDSON VLY. LOOKS LIKE HEAVY SNOW WILL GET ORGANIZED
HERE OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS...THEREFORE HAVE OVERNIGHT SNOW AMOUNTS
INCREASE IN THESE AREAS OF CWA. ALSO...CURRENT RADAR/SAT TRENDS AND
RUC ARE INDICATING THAT 500 MB SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED SFC SYSTEMS ARE
SLOWING...THEREFORE HAVE BACKED ON ARRIVAL OF SNOW UNTIL MIDNIGHT OR
SO SRN NY ZONES...AND UNTIL 08-09Z ACROSS NRN ZONES. REST OF
FORECAST AS IS. NO CHANGES TO FLAGS. MC
