He as a wide area of 12+ total snow and Im in that.

Well, if my area only gets 3 to 6 additional then the 2 day storm total will be 6 to 10 inches, which I feel is kind of low. I would say more like 5" to 10" additional at this point - unless he is thinking we will get less than 0.5" QPF between now and the end of the storm.
