North Shenandoah Valley To Get The Mother Load

#1 Postby Anonymous » Fri Dec 05, 2003 12:26 pm

7 inches already with another 12 inches tonight and Sat.

Totals should be 14 to 20...not bad for the first snow in early December.

According to history this should support an above normal snowfall for the entire winter :D

Some places (such as Philly and NYC) are going to be approaching half of their seasonal normals for snow accumulation by Saturday night. I know Philadelphia's normal seasonal snowfall is @ 21 inches, and they could easily have 10 on the ground by the end of the 2nd storm. Great way to start off the winter, and looks like an above normal snow year for the mid-Atlantic and Northeast.
