Richmond got screwed...
Richmond, so far, looks like we are ending up with just a dusting, no accumulatioin is expect from some people, and others 2-4, i dont see how we can get 2-4 when locals are predicted AM SNOW SHOWERS, and thats it, im confused, hopefully there will be more storms that will affect us with lots of snow, sorry greg, i could still be wrong, but its what its looking like

like I said 3 times already RIC ( I live there) will NOT see ANY snow accumulate at all
ZERO. IT may snow fri night / sat But NO accumulation
the reason why so many services have snow in richmond is b/c the local NWSFO office like every other office in the east coast HAS to brown nose the GFS.
They say the ETA is Not like anything else so the 4PM afternoon discssuion the forecast said he HAD to rely on the GFS....
what a bunch of crap. every day from last sunday to wed the GFS had this Low on SC and NC (at 500 mb). NOW after it shifts 300 miles in 36 hrs it is to be trusted?
I dont think so.... The point is the nwsfo forecaster at the se va office relies on a model which is WRETCHED with regard to east coast snowstorms. The New data is already shifted North so RIC wont see any accumulating snow saturday.

RIC doesn't get screwed as ++SN has never been a sensible option with Storm #2.
Think I posted on Wed AM here no way RIC gets close to 6"...thought then maybe ~2".
Ohio/TN Valley Lows that pop a sec Low off HAT typically take much of the QPF with it. Result: mountains here sometimes get dry slotted with some SN or FZRA. When they do, CHO-RIC usually get little precip as well.
