D.C. Metro ride to work

#1 Postby Lowpressure » Fri Dec 05, 2003 8:05 am

Just drove up from Fredericksburg to Alexandria. Snow cover gets a little thicker as you go up I-95. Light rain mixed with sleet all the way up. Heaviest accumulation appears to be about 3 inches-near woodbridge. Many trees have snow on them, it looks like christmas. Rain has caused some melting so it may have been a bit than 3 inches last night. Western suburbs are reporting up to 6 inches according to NOAA.
34 degrees currently.
