Problems Starting To Develop in VA

Roads in and around Lynchburg are starting to cover with snow/ice. Conditions deteoriate farther west back toward Roanoke, Salem, and Blacksburg. US 11 is partially snow and ice covered from Western Montgomery County to just east of Roanoke. Also...I-81 is developing some slick areas.

Also...here is some info. from W.V.

I-64 from Charleston to Berkley is wet, but from Berkley to Sam Black is slushy.

I-68 from Morgantown to the MD line has patches of snow.

I-81 around Martinsburg is snow covered in the passing lane and slush covered in the driving lane.

WV92 is snow covered from White Sulphur Springs to the Pocahontas County Line.

Near Woodbridge VA we have slick roads from 2 inches of snow and moderate sleet mixed with snow is not helping matters. Temps are three degrees below freezing, the wet snow is compacting, then freezing. The sleet is only adding insult to injury.........

Bedford County Public Schools in VA have just recently called off classes for Friday.
