I was unaware...however from my standpoint There might be a slight slackening off of the precip (when mixing will most likely occur) before the main show starts late tomorrow evening. so IOW...yea...they may be leaning too heavly on drying things out. I suspect the 3 pm update will feature many changes to the friday night and saturday period. and the DC adv should go to a warning. (though if i was the forecaster i would have gone with warnings right off the bat this afternoon).

i need the storm to come up a bit further northwest here in syracuse. We really need the snow here as we have only recieved 17 inches so far and only have an 3 inches on the ground. Come on storm, bring me some synoptic snow, not just the lake effect. I'm snow deprived as it hasnt snowed in 2 days.
