Snowfall Radar Imaging

#1 Postby wxid » Thu Dec 04, 2003 3:19 pm

Anyone know why some radars have Snow & Ice discretion (shown in white, blue and pink) like Intellicast and others dont, so it justs looks like a standard Rainfall image. I like to clearly see the Rain-Snow line and NWS i cant tell diddly. Are there any good Winter Radar programs (software) or Websites that do (other than inteliicast)?

Accuweather has a rain/snow radar, but the accuracy sometimes is very misleading on those types of radars.
