Expect longer periods-freezing/frozen in Western-Central NC

Latest RUC model runs indicate while the 850mb temperatures do warm in Western NC above 0ºC, it barely budges with the SFC temperatures through 12 hours ... areas picking up snow will gradually change to either frozen/freezing (sleet/ZR) but once again, temperatures very crucial here, and temperatures do NOT look to rise, especially if precip continues to fall through the wedge ...

The locals have temps above freezing in our area, RDU-Wake & Durham County - do you see something different for me? - Person County (North of here, and our Snow Line City) has had snow this morning, while we had rain . . .
