What about Big Cities??

#1 Postby James5o4 » Sun Nov 02, 2003 9:59 pm

Does anyone know when the best chances are for the the northeast big cities (exp nyc, boston) to get its first snows? Ive been hearing that the nao will tank during mid to end of the month. Will the temps be cold enough for snow then, or will the temps just be closer to normal than it is now?

As for the temps, well, the Nao should tank in the next week or two, if the PNA shifts to positive, then yes the NE may see it's first snow...here's a thread on that...
