Blast of artic air coming

#1 Postby LehighValleyForcaster » Mon Oct 27, 2003 2:09 am

Blast of artic air will be moving into Montana Oct.30 and will continue to hang around until the 3rd of Nov.

This artic blast will drop the evening temps into the single digits.

That region will see lows dropping as low as 2 degrees above 0 and other regions listed below can see single digits to the low teens.

Other regions that will be effected by this blast of artic air will be parts of Washington state, parts of Oregon, North Eastern part of California, North western part of Navada, Northern parts of Wyoming, north western part of North Dakota and South Dakota and North western part of Minnesota.

These areas may also see snow as well as a lite ban of moisture will be moving thru during that period.

This is not uncommon for these regions to see these types of temps during this time of the year.

So far the North East will still stay in the warmer trend during this period.

Winter is pushing its way in but how far will it get in at this time is a bit difficult to say. All we can do is watch and wait.

Yes - it looks like the northern and central Rockies will be seeing some very cold by the end of the week, continuing into early next week. And it will be much more of a shock than those temps would normally be this time of the year, because of how warm it has been so far this fall.
