Over here, we're about to have a heat wave:



So far this month:



As you can see, it really is going to be warmer than it has been lately. We may possibly even have a 24 hour period where the temperature stays above 0F for the entire 24 hours, which hasn't happened in a while. Bring on the warm temps!

Just goes to show how slow it can be to scour the cold out of those high intermoutain valleys. Denver is headed toward 70 for the next couple of days.

Nice. Colorado certainly is diverse. These dang inversions keep it cold here. This morning it was officially -16F (-19F at my house) in Craig, which is at 6300 feet elevation and it was at the same time +27F up on Mount Werner at 10,600 feet.

The eastern plains of Colorado are supposed to be well into the 70's in some locations. Check out Pueblo:

Much of Utah as well. Salt Lake City hasn't broken freezing in a while.
