New Snow photos from Utah

#1 Postby Scott Patterson » Tue Oct 09, 2007 6:14 pm

I took these photos on October 7 2007 while on a climb to Frary Peak, the highest mountain on Antelope Island. I hope you enjoy them.

On the climb to Frary (summit elevation 6598 feet):

Great pics!

They *almost* cool me off, just looking at them. lol - I'm ready for the hot, summer temperatures to go away.

that's awesome. beautiful .

i am always intrigued by the fact that the higher in eleveation one goes, the colder and whiter things get, i could imagine my excitement hiking up the hill toward the "snow line", preferrably with a snow tube. I don't think i will ever grow up.

off thread but looks like a winter wonder land hear as well. tis the season
