12/21 12Z GFS Nutz?

It loses any signifigant low coming from the gulf in the short term and shoots the Freeze line down to Okeechobee with a nasty Noreaster in the long term...

That scenario paints a bunch of snow coming in several shots to the east with like you said a nasty nor 'easter. Hard to believe that will stay that way. Fun to look at none the less.

GFS is probably seeing lots of energy, especially with the southern stream being active and does not know how to handle it.

It's obviously hosed...there isn't a 6-13" swath of snow being forecasted for SE TX.

We all know that is what will occur...sooner or later the models will pick up on it.
