Back Online After Ice Storm

#1 Postby Hybridstorm_November2001 » Sat Dec 02, 2006 10:24 pm

Well I'm back online after losing my power for 6 and ½ hours last night; due to the half inch of Ice coating everything, including a nearby transformer that blew at mid-night, (only the second time I've ever seen a transformer blow, the other was in the "Santa Storm" of December 1994) putting on a brief but spectacular light show. I'm starting to hate severe Winter Weather, after the events of the last several years (expect for last year of course), especially Ice storms. :grr:

Not to bad. The high was 28 F/-2.2 C today. The over night low last night was 15 F/-10 C, but we had wind gusts to 40 mph/65 km/h too.
