FROST IN THE BURGH!!!!!

:cry: :( We had a heavy frost last night at my house. Temps dipped to 33°. I covered most of my perennials with about 10 sheets and the pillow cases to match!!!!! Some plants still got burned.

We took all of our plants in the other night. Yard is too small to have a garden, so we just have a couple of containers we put a few things in. This year, its just a container with strawberries and a container with a tomato plant. The few hanging plants also came in. The dog was, what the heck is this, arent they suppose to be outside. We warned him not give them a drink over the course of the night :lol:

Nice bug killer as well. I miss those down here. Dang skeeters n such live a long life down here..

Around here, we have gone seven days in a row now without a frost. Extremely unusual for May.

Haven't had a frost here in about a month. Getting late in the year for that.

Nope. The dog didnt water anything. He was thoroughly confused with all the pots in the house. We had to put a couple of them in "his" corner and you could tell he was bent out of shape by it.

LOL My dog doesn't bother them but my cat will eat the leaves and dig in the dirt if I bring them inside.
