To tell you the truth, I forget which storm has what totals! There have been so many! One of them hit to the all time record in Philly of 30" - I think it was the Blizzard of 1996.

Blizzard of 1996, President's Day storm 2003, Valentine's Day storm 1978 all at or over 20" of snow I believe.

Superstorm of 1993 we didn't have as much snow, but it was that plus the combination of ice and snow that crippled us.

Last year's January storm was had almost 20 inches of snow.

The worst snowstorm I have experienced is the only snow storm I have ever experienced. And I'll never forget it, it was truly amazing since I had never seen snow before in my life. 7 inches in Oklahoma City, in December 2001. Some of you may think thats a small total, but man, it seemed like 2 feet. That is the last time I have seen snow. :(

As you can see, it sucks living in Houston.

mine would have to be Dec. 22nd, 2004. The big 22" inch storm that closed down I-64 till Christmas Day trying to get all of the drifts down, that had everyone stuck in it. That was one crazy storm

Bald Eagle (4 day storm in 2001) dropped 127" (over 10 feet) in Montague, NY (about a half hour south of me). My house picked up about 4 and a half feet.

Two storms in 2004 in rapid succession, one dumped 86" in Parish with snow falling in excess of 6-8"/hour at times. Very interesting stuff, I still have pictures of people shoveling snow off of their roofs!

   WOW. Now THAT is a lot of snow. I know that Montague is one of the snowiest towns in the country, but that's just insane! Do you have pictures?

I know how that feels. I remember getting 20 inches of snow in just a little over 24 hours in February 1998, and yet we still had school! That sucked. I remember another day when we got a lot of snow and the power was out at the school...and they still made us go to school! It's impossible to get school cancelled here. I've only ever had one snow day the entire 11 years I've lived here, and that was in kindergarten.

By the way...I think this thread should be stickied.

Superstorm of 93 and Presidents Day storm 2003. Saw nearly 20" with the 93 storm and 23" with the 2003 storm.
