I'm not expecting much out of this one..maybe a brief change to snow after tha rain.

Though after the last system, i suppose anything is possible. That one did actually work out for us.

Wait and see i suppose.

Accuweather has snow and cold in early February for us.....but do I believe it? Only when I see it!

Also, I don't have much faith in accuwx. I only go to that site b/c it has a 15 day outlook and it's always fun to see what's coming....or not coming!

Front page headline said even though this has been a warm January, gas and electric bills will still be very high. Dang! Haven't received my next statement but I'm dreading it now. Was hoping since it's been so warm it would be much lower than December's bill?

Mary

PS - edit, accuwx's changed their Cincinnati early Feb. forecast already. And they have ice for tomorrow, 7 a.m. thru 9 a.m. We'll see......

A resounding no was the answer then. All rain here

At least they forecasted it right anyway.

That ice predicted for today? Changed to all rain. I think I'm gonna have to stop checking wx forecasts.....gasp!

Local Met came out today with a February outlook - above average temps, average precip. He didn't rule out a chance for a few snowstorms but clearly said we're in a la nina pattern and we'd better get used to it.

I've pretty much decided winter is over. Better get that lawnmower tuned up, the deck furniture out of storage. Either all of these practices will bring on spring or winter back in a fury. Sigh....I just wanted one decent snowfall. Just one!

Nah...i refuse to believe it!

Some good signs now for the next few weeks. Turning colder by next week maybe...maybe another cold front further down the line and wallop! Who knows?

Long term forecasts are wanting colder conditions early next week and that may be the first step towards a return to winter proper. I'm going to stay optimistic. Things are certainly looking better now then they were say...i dunno...the whole of this month so far really!

Anyway, that cold front was pretty exciting this afternoon...huge wind gust followed by a freak burst of snow before it all settled down again.

Now if winter could return behind a front like that..then that would be something else!

At least I dont have a lawn to mow!

Well, I like your forecast but remember, you are 2 hours north of me. And there's a big difference in wintery precip between Columbus and Cincinnati. If Ohio will receive any measurable amounts in the next few weeks, you'd have a greater chance than we would!

Here's hoping you're right.
